OZARK MAH JONGG LEAGUE Our February Mah Jongg League is a six-week evening league designed for confident players who enjoy structured play with clear rules and a friendly, competitive spirit. 📝DETAILS 📆 DATES: Wednesdays, February 4 – March 11 (6 weeks) ⏰ TIME: 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM (Note: 6:15 PM arrival. Play begins promptly at 6:30 PM) 📍 PLACE: Ozark Mah Jongg Studio, 130 East Poplar Street, Suite D, Fayetteville, Arkansas 72703 💲 COST: $100 per person Players must be able to complete one round of NMJL Mah Jongg (4 games) in under 60 minutes. FORMAT: Assigned seating and seat movement between rounds. You will receive a seating map each week to make rotation movements clear and easy. RULES: NMJL and MahJongg Made Easy, with select league-specific clarifications. Cancellation Policy

League Policies & Participation Agreement The Ozark Mah Jongg League is designed to provide organized, enjoyable, and respectful play in a consistent league format. These policies exist to ensure fairness, clarity, and a positive experience for all participants. League Structure League sessions run for six consecutive weeks unless otherwise noted. League play occurs on the same weekday and time each week. Seating assignments, table movement, and round structure are determined by the League Director and posted at the studio. League play begins promptly at the scheduled start time. Late arrivals may impact scoring or seating. Rules of Play League play follows NMJL rules and MahJongg Made Easy, with league-specific clarifications and exceptions outlined in the official League Rules document. League Rules are provided in writing and may include clarifications related to calling, penalties, scoring, timing, and conduct. Interpretation of rules is a normal part of play. Final decisions rest with the League Director. Any rule clarifications made during the season apply to all remaining league nights. Scoring & Timing Scoring includes bonuses and penalties as outlined in the League Rules. Tables are expected to manage time respectfully to ensure rounds remain on schedule. Time penalties may be assessed to tables that exceed the allotted round time. Sportsmanship & Conduct League play prioritizes good sportsmanship, clear calls, and respectful behavior. “Slamming,” unclear calls, or behavior deemed unsportsmanlike may result in penalties or intervention. Disputes should be raised calmly and respectfully. The League Director’s ruling is final. Repeated disruptive behavior may result in removal from league play without refund. Substitutions & Absences Players are responsible for notifying the League Director if they cannot attend. If you find your own substitute: The substitute plays under your scorecard. Any prize or payout arrangements are handled privately between you and your substitute. If the League provides a substitute: The substitute plays for free. The absent player receives no points for those rounds. A list of available substitutes may be maintained, but players are ultimately responsible for securing coverage. Fees & Refunds League fees cover league administration, prizes, snacks, beverages, and studio use. League fees are non-refundable once the league begins, except in rare circumstances at the discretion of the
