Siamese Mah Jongg,™ invented and trademarked by Gladys Grad, is the perfect way to play when you only have two people, want to sharpen your skills, or need a quick, strategy-focused game. It’s fast, fun, and an excellent tool for learning the NMJL card, practicing hand selection, improving defense, and building overall confidence. This class is great for: Couples, friends, or family members who want to play together Players who want purposeful practice without waiting for a full group Anyone who wants deeper card familiarity and faster decision-making Groups who are occasionally down a player (or two!) and want a flexible backup format Students preparing for competitive or tournament play In this session, you’ll learn the full structure of Siamese Mah Jongg,™ setup, rules, scoring, strategy, and guided open play. By the end, you’ll know exactly how to use this format to improve your game and enjoy meaningful play anytime you only have two players. Ozark Mah Jongg – Booking Policy We’re so glad you’re ready to learn and play with us! To ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for everyone, please review the following booking policies that apply to all Ozark Mah Jongg classes: 📅 Booking & Scheduling All classes must be booked in advance. Private lessons are offered for groups of four and scheduled based on mutual availability. Bundled classes (Mah Jongg 101 + 102) are ideally scheduled 3–7 days apart to maximize learning and retention. We’ll schedule your second class at the end of your first session. Classes can take place in your home or in our Game Studio (location provided after booking). 💳 Payment Payment is due in full at the time of booking to reserve your spot. We accept all major credit cards through our secure checkout process. 🔁 Rescheduling & Cancellations Life happens! We allow one complimentary reschedule with at least 24 hours’ notice. Cancellations made with more than 24 hours’ notice are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice are non-refundable, but we’ll do our best to work with you on rescheduling, subject to availability. No-shows are not eligible for rescheduling or refund. 🀄 Group Size All private classes are designed for 4 players.
